As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Specialist in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as required during incidents and/or emergencies.
Remain alert to surroundings and communicate any potential security-related concerns to supervisors and/or the appropriate authorities.
