As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to respond promptly to situations while delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity, all while supporting a secure environment for the community.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for government locations.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents in and around the location.
Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required, supporting the security-related needs of the location.
Complete thorough and accurate reports on all incidents, patrol activities, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
