As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within financial institution locations. You will conduct regular patrols, remain a visible presence to support security-related efforts, and provide exceptional customer service while responding promptly to situations as they arise. Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
  • Remain alert and observant while on patrol and during all assigned duties, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
  • Interact with visitors, employees, and/or vendors in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance or information as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies and/or alarms according to established protocols, including coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
