As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Lead in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will conduct regular patrols while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and maintain order. Your role involves interacting with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service, and responding calmly to incidents as they arise. This position requires carrying a firearm and a valid armed guard card/license. Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following company and site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter of the food and beverage production location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the facility to help to deter potential issues and report unusual activity.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while enforcing access control policies and procedures.
Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation accurately and promptly.
Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain awareness of site-specific operations and procedures relevant to the food and beverage environment.
