As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, supporting a secure environment for all. You will conduct visible, routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as instructed by Allied Universal, providing customer service to all visitors and staff at the government location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment appropriate to an armed patrol role.
Conduct regular and random patrols both within the premises and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to maintain a visible presence.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols and communication channels.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel or law enforcement as needed.
Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or other personnel while maintaining a courteous and approachable demeanor.
Comply with all Allied Universal and client-specific requirements regarding the handling and use of firearms during assigned duties.
