About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Government Patrol in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • 3+ years combined law enforcement or Military or Armed Security experience
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Have a minimum of 3 years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a secure environment within the location.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
  • Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and the public while upholding site-specific protocols.
  • Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
