As a Security Professional - Armed Government Center - Full Time in Hookerton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Must possess an armed guard card or armed guard license.
Must have at least six months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor and assess situations, reporting any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all post orders and directives from Allied Universal management.
Perform duties in accordance with local regulations and site-specific requirements for government locations.
Carry and be responsible for a firearm while performing duties, complying with all applicable laws and Allied Universal policies for armed personnel.
