Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrols Full-Time in Sanford, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer serving a government location, where you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will support a secure environment for all individuals on site, while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
Carry and maintain assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines, following all relevant regulations.
Maintain accurate and timely records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by post orders.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when needed, providing support during critical events.
