About The Position

The Security Pool Officer, a Seasonal Full-Time role, is responsible for patrolling and monitoring pool gates to prevent unauthorized access by non-guests. This position enforces facility rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all guests and associates. The officer will observe and report any unusual activity, report suspicious behavior directly to in-house Security or Security Management, and report any First Aid needs to in-house Security, securing the scene until their arrival and administering CPR if necessary until Security arrives.

Requirements

  • One year of hospitality and/or Security experience.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with guests and associates, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and to collect accurate information and to resolve problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
  • Professional phone etiquette, writing skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, with excellent follow-up skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol and monitor Pool Gates to prevent unauthorized access from non-guest to the pool.
  • Enforce facility rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all our guests and associates.
  • Observe, monitor and report any unusual activity.
  • In the case of suspicious behavior, report directly, via radio, to in-house Security, or Security Management that is on duty.
  • Report to in house Security any First Aid that may need to be administered.
  • Secure the scene until in house Security arrives.
  • Administer CPR until in-house Security arrives to your location.
