About The Position

Topa is looking for motivated Security Personnel to join our team in the Lanigan Area. This is a full-time position located at the Aspen Power Plant. The role involves managing access, monitoring surveillance, providing customer service, and ensuring the safety and security of the premises.

Requirements

• Valid Security Guard License
• First Aid level C with AED
• Professional deportment
• Proactive, attention to detail, self-motivated and team player
• Above average written, oral communication and computer skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in security

Responsibilities

• Manage access cards through the security computer system
• Camera Surveillance
• Monitor the telephone, transferring calls and using the paging system
• Complete weekly fire alarm testing
• Complete weekly inventory and unit checks
• Monitor access gates and parking lots
• Greet customer and register visitors as needed
• Provide basic first aid
• Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property
• Conduct preventive surveillance rounds according to established procedures
• Provide impeccable customer service
• Prevent fire, theft, and vandalism
• Enforce the regulations in effect at the premises
• Write daily reports and incident reports
• Attend and participate in safety meetings
• Attend and participate in tool box talks
• Attend and participate in site inspections
• Complete FLRA's
