About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer to join their team. This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong observation skills to monitor security systems and detect suspicious activity. The Surveillance Security Guard will be responsible for spotting threats before they escalate in various environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. This position offers a set schedule of 40 hours per week, Saturday through Wednesday, from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM (3rd shift), with a competitive hourly wage of $20.90. Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• At least 1 year of vehicle patrol experience driving a company vehicle
• Ability to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology

Nice To Haves

• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card)
• Additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
