About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential apartment community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the residential community, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain daily activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.
