About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Center in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities throughout a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site expectations.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols around common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, assist with access-related issues, and report suspicious behavior to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
Support mall operations by providing directions, assisting with customer questions, and communicating with management regarding maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or other security-related matters observed during patrols.
