The Security Operations Manager will oversee security operations in the North Miami/South Broward area, working directly under the Director of Operations. This role focuses on ensuring field-level excellence by supervising personnel, maintaining site compliance, and providing logistical support. The ideal candidate is a "hands-on" leader capable of transitioning between staff training and equipment troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Florida Class D Security License (Required)
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (Required)
  • Willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug test.
  • Minimum of 3 years of security supervision or leadership experience
  • Flexibility for an on-call schedule as needed
  • Strong technical aptitude for troubleshooting security equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular, unannounced site inspections to ensure security personnel are following protocols, maintaining uniform standards, and performing duties effectively.
  • Handle the delivery of site equipment and supplies; troubleshoot hardware/software issues (CCTV, radios, tablets) to ensure zero downtime at client locations.
  • Familiarize new staff with site-specific post orders and conduct hands-on training for existing personnel to maintain high service standards.
  • Assist in site coverage during emergencies or staffing gaps to ensure all posts remain secure.
  • Execute and document coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions for staff members in accordance with company policy.
  • Review and audit all timesheets, daily activity logs, and incident reports for precision and compliance.
  • Provide comprehensive end-of-shift summaries to management and executive leadership detailing all operational actions, site visits, and incidents addressed.
  • Interact with clients and residents professionally to address immediate concerns and maintain strong site-level relationships.
