About The Position

The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a driven leader to join our team as the Security Operations Center (SOC) Administrator. Under the direction of the Deputy Chief of Emergency Management, the SOC Administrator will ensure 24/7 operational readiness, communication accuracy and interagency coordination. This role involves continuous monitoring, coordination and leadership of the Security Operations Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in activation and coordination in Incident Response and emergency management, experience and knowledge in the Incident Command System, knowledge of Digital evidence management systems, real time security operations, and response coordination.

  • Possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks if driving is an essential function
  • Maintain acceptable driving records and complete all required driver training if driving on state business
  • Maintain the statutorily required liability insurance if operating a personally owned vehicle on state business
  • Successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify)

Responsibilities

  • Maintains real time situational awareness of all nine state prison complexes, contracted facilities and community reentry operations
  • Directs activation and coordination of the SOC during critical incidents
  • Ensures unified command, timely communication and operational consistency across agency during critical incidents
  • Serves as primary liaison with complex leadership and external partners to enhance response readiness and interagency cooperation
  • Oversees departmental AXON programs, including body-worn cameras, taser platforms and FUSUS real time situational awareness network
  • Coordinates with AXON representatives and agency IT to maintain technology integration
  • Implements agency emergency preparedness initiatives
  • Supports the maintenance and improvement of agency Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP)
  • Develops and maintains operational dashboards, reports and status boards that provides leadership with accurate and real time information
  • Completes special projects
  • Conducts management staff meetings
  • Attends training and/or meetings as required
  • Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
  • Drives on State Business
