About The Position

The Security Operations Center Coordinator at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO is responsible for the operation of the SLHS Security Operations Center. This role involves monitoring various alarms, including fire systems, infant abduction systems, intrusion, and duress alarms. The coordinator also monitors security cameras, answers phones, dispatches security officers via two-way radio, completes daily logs and incident reports, and provides badge access. The position requires a strong understanding of all aspects of security, including patrolling, approved security responses, and incident reporting according to department procedures. This role requires the ability to work autonomously as well as with a team, and the ideal candidate will have strong customer service, leadership, adaptability, and a willingness to learn, along with a positive attitude.
