About The Position

St. Mark Village is seeking a Security Officer to join their award-winning team. The Security Officer will be responsible for protecting the community by monitoring for various security threats, responding to emergencies, maintaining documentation, performing patrols, and assisting with general maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Active and clear Florida drivers license in good standing
• 2 years of experience in security field, law enforcement, or military
• Florida security license
• Must be CPR/AED certified within 6 months of hire, EMR preferred
• Must be able to produce a negative drug test
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Protect the St. Mark Village community by monitoring for fire, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry
• Respond promptly to all 911 and emergency situations, directing emergency personnel and assisting with crowd control as needed
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and security documentation to record events and actions taken
• Perform regular patrols to ensure the safety of residents, staff, visitors, and property
• Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs such as plumbing, electrical work, painting, or basic grounds upkeep
