About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Operations in Kings Mountain, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Monitor entry points, verify visitor credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
Receive, screen, and direct visitors, employees, contractors, deliveries, and telephone inquiries in a professional manner.
Observe front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, incidents, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
