As a Security Professional supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document visitor activity and other security-related events.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
