Security Officer, Day Shift, Security Services
About The Position
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Security Officer who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Security Officer you will ensure a safe environment for our patients, staff, visitors, physicians and volunteers, and ensure quality outcomes for the security department by communicating effectively with security, staff and the public. The role involves conducting foot and vehicular patrols of the facility and parking areas, assisting with restraining violent patients, using time and resources in a financially responsible manner, fostering group cohesiveness within the security department, and portraying a positive image of the organization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a US Driver’s License
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Must be able to respond to physically demanding emergency calls
Nice To Haves
- Previous security experience, preferably in a hospital setting
