About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Lobby in Dublin, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients, visitors, and staff; verifying access; and directing individuals to appropriate healthcare locations.
  • Monitor the front desk area and support site-specific security-related procedures, visitor management requirements, and access-control protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with site policies.
  • Support a welcoming healthcare environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
