Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Must have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
Screen individuals and their belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures, escalating prohibited items or concerns according to site policy.
Verify access credentials and direct visitors to appropriate entry points, reception areas, or authorized personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and promptly notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
