About The Position
Responsible for ensuring the facility is provided with high quality security services to protect associates, visitors and property. Detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts on or near the premises which may be a threat to the associates, visitors or the property.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Patrols assigned area on foot to ensure personal, building, and equipment security.
- Watches for irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations.
- Remains alert for the presence of unauthorized persons and/or security code violators; approaches suspicious person and/or notifies police as appropriate and contacts Manager
- Enforces the rules and policies of the property, contacting the Security Manager when violations occur.
- Apprises and alerts violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with associates and guests.
- Answers questions and assists guests and associates.
- Provides escort as necessary.
- Completes reports and activity logs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
