About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Support in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals as required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and maintaining an orderly environment for patients and visitors.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
