Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures, including reviewing identification and access credentials.
• Monitor access points, package and freight movement areas, and screening equipment; report unusual activity, prohibited items, and policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
