About The Position

Provides a safe and secure environment for all persons on premises by conducting patrols of hospital property, answering calls and documenting activities. Investigates and makes recommendations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of experience in Security or related field.
• Current California (CA) driver’s license.
• Must be insurable under Huntington's liability insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.
• In house 8 hour AVADE training to be completed within the first month of hire and renewed annually as part of an annual 40 hour Security Officer training program.
• Initial and annual trauma “Stop the Bleed” training within one month of hire.
• Read, write, speak English fluently.
• Basic computer knowledge, to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, and other hospital related programs.
• Basic report writing skills.
