Requirements

A valid CPO is required.
A valid armed guard card and/or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification as required, and assist with screening procedures in accordance with site policies and post orders.
Support emergency and incident response by communicating with supervisors, public contacts, and/or first responders, while maintaining preparedness to act within assigned armed post responsibilities.
