In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to guests, tenants, and staff. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, deliveries, and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to support orderly operations at a busy public-facing location.
• Assist with crowd and traffic flow during peak hours, special events, and/or high-visitor periods, helping to address issues professionally while following post orders and escalation procedures.
