The Security Officer position is responsible for maintaining control of access to Publix facilities by associates, guests, and other non-facility personnel. This role involves providing access control, routing, and shipping/receiving processing for product/equipment deliveries. The officer will conduct personal observations of activities within the facility and report any incidents or procedural deficiencies. Maintaining accurate security-related records and documentation, including all activity that occurs outside normal business hours, is crucial. The Security Officer will also communicate information to security supervisors, associates, or facility management and complete other security duties as assigned.
