As a Front Desk Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, managing access, and supporting daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal standards at the front desk of a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor visitor access, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain front desk logs, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, departures, and authorized access.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, direct individuals to appropriate departments, and support front desk operations with clear and professional communication.
  • Observe lobby and reception activity to help support order at the location and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
