As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Badge Operations in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support security-related operations. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and use technology to document activity. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns; help to deter theft and unauthorized access through a visible presence.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response procedures.
Document daily activities, patrols, and incidents accurately, and communicate relevant information to store management and Allied Universal leadership.
