As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight Corporate Lobby Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a premier commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service, and communicate observations clearly. Requirements
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Document daily activities, incidents, patrol observations, and property concerns accurately in required logs and reports.
