As a Security Officer Access Operations Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a professional team while communicating clearly and responding to site needs with integrity. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical and petrochemical facility while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Control access to the location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and contractor passes, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor entry points, access-control systems, and alarm notifications; report irregularities and follow established escalation procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, assigned areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
