Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at the residential location, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent security-related screening practices.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations and reporting findings according to post procedures.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery records, provide directions and post information, and support orderly traffic flow at access points throughout the location.
