Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeter, and other assigned locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, directions, and customer inquiries while helping to deter unauthorized activity.
