Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor site activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support access and crowd management practices during business hours, peak traffic periods, opening and closing procedures, and/or special events as requested by site leadership.
