About The Position
As an unarmed Security Officer Patrol at a commercial real estate location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting access control. You will provide customer service and clear communication to tenants, visitors, and staff while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. This is a full-time position paying $15.00 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property policies, helping maintain orderly entry and exit.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and notification procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
