As a Security Officer with Active Clearance in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine access control activities, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization as required, and report unusual or unauthorized activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, patrols, access activity, and other security-related observations.
