As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Deescalation in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
Must be 21 years of age or older
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
Monitor access points, assist with visitor screening and directions, and support access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required activity logs for security-related events and observations.
