As a Security Officer Full Time Medical Center Patrol in Bartlett, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
  • Must be willing to work in or around a hospital morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals when required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.
