Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Screen visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures, directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, docks, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
