About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced to provide security services at a financial institution in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The role has an assigned site and a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. The scheduled shift is Saturday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. In addition to the assigned shift, officers may claim extra shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The pay rate is $24.00 per hour.

The officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Duties include responding to alarms and incidents, patrolling banking areas and the surrounding property, monitoring access points, and documenting activities and observations.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location.
• Report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with company and site-specific requirements.
