Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, guest lists, deliveries, and/or visitor authorizations to help control entry and exit in accordance with property rules and post orders.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or security-related concerns.
Complete routine logs and incident reports, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues observed during the course of duty.
