As a Security Officer Full Time in Oak Creek, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support security-related operations through teamwork and integrity. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific access policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
  • Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, support gate operations, and report irregularities involving deliveries, trailers, or restricted-access areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking lots, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
