Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor entry activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify access-related concerns and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy questions, and operational needs.
