As a Security Officer - Full Time Medical Campus Patrol in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting of security-related concerns.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, while documenting observations, incidents, and/or policy-related issues.
Support staff and visitors during routine operations and unexpected events by providing directions, assistance, and timely communication with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
