As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. You will support a secure environment through routine patrols, access control, and exceptional customer service. This position requires driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and support a secure environment.
Monitor site access points and observe for any unusual activity, reporting findings according to established protocols.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, hazards, or potential concerns at the location.
Maintain detailed documentation and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
Assist with the implementation of emergency response procedures specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, following all site-specific guidelines and protocols.
