About The Position

Securitas Security is looking to hire a part-time flex officer to work at various locations throughout Binghamton and the surrounding area. As a flex officer, you will have varied days/hours each week or may be asked to fill in for a temporary assignment. Candidates should have open availability and be able to work all shifts and days. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently, our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

Must have own reliable means of transportation.
Must have open availability and be able to work all shifts and days.
Must be comfortable with a computer.
Must have strong customer service skills.
Those who are not licensed will be required to take the NYS Security training courses.
Those who are licensed will need to take orientation at the Johnson City office.
