About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Alarm Assessment in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and use technology to document observations. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking lots, entry points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points and verify visitor, vendor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity through clear and accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
