Join Allied Universal in a dynamic automotive location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, showroom entrances, service areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorized entry when required, and reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support daily operations at an automotive-focused location by observing vehicle inventory areas, assisting with directional questions, and reporting security-related concerns involving property, traffic flow, and/or after-hours activity.
